This durable steel inline valve is engineered for precise flow control featuring a metal knob and stem designed to withstand rigorous applications. The needle valves body is available in brass carbon steel or stainless steel with a stainless steel needle for the steel versions.

The valve supports a maximum operating pressure of 5000 PSI and a rated flow of 4.50 GPM. Equipped with color coding and numerical readout it enables accurate repeatable settings even under pressure.

Its female 1/8-27 NPT ports ensure compatibility with various hydraulic systems. The temperature range spans from -15F to 400F making it suitable for diverse environments.

Features include a Viton O-Ring Teflon washer seal and an aluminum knob enhancing both durability and performance. Adjustment can be locked with a set screw for added reliability.

got a tight spot on a test stand, how fine is the adjustment on this needle valve?

For dialing flow in small steps, the easy read knob uses color coding and a numeric readout so you can land on a setting and come back to it later. Adjustment can be made under pressure, and it is sensitive enough to tune within a small fraction of a turn, with one full turn per color.

locks on a needle valve, is that something you can actually do mid-operation, or do you have to shut everything down first?

Flow adjustment on this valve can be made under pressure, so you don't have to take the system offline to dial in your setting. Once you've got it where you want it, the set screw lets you lock the position so it won't drift. That's a pretty handy combination when you're working on a live system and need repeatable results.
