Designed for precise, repeatable flow control in hydraulic systems, this needle valve features color coding and numerical readouts for accurate adjustments. The needle and metal knob ensure durability in demanding environments. With easy-to-read settings, flow adjustments can be made even under pressure and locked in place with a set screw. Suitable for industrial applications requiring controlled flow in both directions. Constructed from robust steel, it boasts a maximum operating pressure of 5000 PSI and can handle flow rates up to 10 GPM.
Temperature range spans from -15deg;F to 400deg;F, and the valve's 1/4-18 NPT female ports simplify integration into existing systems. Vitonreg; O-ring and Teflonreg; washer seal enhance its reliability and lifespan. This valve supports precise flow control in critical applications, thanks to its meticulous engineering and durable materials. Itrsquo;s also available with a body in brass, carbon steel, or stainless steel, and a needle in brass or stainless steel, tailored to different system requirements.

Question by: Wes H on Jun 10, 2025, 8:10 AM
runs up to 5000 PSI in my hydraulic system, will this needle valve keep up with that or is it gonna be a weak point in the line?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 11, 2025, 12:24 PM
At 5000 PSI, you're right at the rated maximum for non-shock service on this valve. As long as your system isn't throwing pressure spikes or surges, it holds up fine at that ceiling. The steel body and stainless steel needle are what make that rating possible on this particular model. Brass versions of this valve family are rated lower and meant for pneumatic or lighter hydraulic work, so the steel build here matters for your application.
Question by: Brent C on Sep 29, 2025, 9:25 PM
What kind of fluids can I run through this needle valve? Gotta make sure it's compatible with what we're using.
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 1, 2025, 9:13 AM
This steel needle valve is designed for use in hydraulic systems. Brass valves, on the other hand, are better suited for pneumatic and lower-pressure hydraulic setups.
Question by: Tommy W on Sep 4, 2025, 1:16 PM
What kind of stuff can I use this needle valve for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 5, 2025, 3:01 PM
This steel needle valve is designed for precise flow control in hydraulic systems. It's good for applications where you need to adjust the flow, even with pressure on, and lock it down.
Question by: Clint E on Nov 30, 2025, 2:12 PM
i need a needle valve i can tweak while the system’s still got pressure on it. can this one be adjusted and then locked so it don’t drift?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 1, 2025, 6:10 PM
Built for on-the-fly adjustment, the easy-read knob lets you dial flow even under pressure, then lock the setting in place with the set screw. The color bands and numeric readout are there so you can come back to the same setting without guessing.
Question by: Hugh B on May 24, 2025, 7:33 PM
Flow adjustment while the system's still running, is that actually doable with this valve, or do you have to shut things down first?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 26, 2025, 12:07 PM
You can make adjustments while the system is under pressure with this valve. That's one of the practical advantages of the design. The color coding and numbered readouts help you dial in your setting accurately without guessing, and once you've got it where you want it, the set screw locks the position so it won't drift on you.
