The DELTROL Fluid Products hydraulic/pneumatic needle valve features a robust steel construction designed for use in hydraulic systems. Engineered with female 3/8-18 NPT ports, this needle valve supports a rated flow of up to 18.00 GPM and a maximum operating pressure of 5000 PSI.

This valve is capable of controlled flow adjustments in both directions, even under pressure, with settings that can be securely locked using a set screw. The valve is equipped with a metal knob and stem, ensuring durability and long-lasting performance in demanding environments.

Color coding and a numerical readout facilitate precise and repeatable settings, making it possible to adjust the valve accurately within a small fraction of a turn, with one full turn per color.

The valve's body is constructed from carbon steel, and the needle is made from stainless steel, with Vitonreg; O-rings and Teflonreg; washer seals. The needle valve operates efficiently within a temperature range of -15deg;F to 400deg;F.

got a hydraulic setup where i need to fine-tune flow both ways. is this needle valve made for that kind of deal

For controlled flow in either direction, this inline needle valve is a good fit. It lets you adjust the flow while the system is under pressure, and you can lock the setting in place with the set screw so it does not drift.

Reckon this'll hold up okay in a hydraulic system running around 4500 PSI? Don't wanna get somethin' that's gonna blow on me.

does this valve work for adjusting flow in both directions, or is it just one-way? got a circuit that needs control going back and forth under pressure

Flow adjustment in both directions is supported, and changes can be made while the system is under pressure. That makes it practical for circuits where you need to dial things in on the fly without shutting down. The set screw lock also lets you hold a setting once you've got it where you want it, so it won't drift on you.
