Question by: Frank P on Nov 10, 2025, 6:42 PM
How can I make sure the VFC40-K-A valve fits my system's porting setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 12, 2025, 2:01 PM
This valve uses a 3/8” NPTF porting, which is pretty standard. Just check if your system's connections match this size to ensure compatibility.
Question by: Randy F on Apr 28, 2026, 4:41 PM
porting on this is 3/8 NPTF right? trying to match up to existing fittings on a test circuit and dont want to order the wrong thing
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 30, 2026, 11:10 AM
3/8 NPTF is correct. That's a tapered thread, so it seals on the threads themselves rather than relying on a separate face seal or O-ring at the port. If your existing fittings are NPTF or NPT in that size, you're in good shape. Worth double-checking whether your current ports are tapered versus straight thread before you commit to the order.
