The WEBTEC CT Series Turbine Flow Meters are designed to provide accurate flow measurement in hydraulic systems, supporting a flow range from 5 to 150 L/min (1.3 to 40 US gpm). Constructed with durable aluminium, steel, and stainless steel materials, the CT150-MA-S-S-6 model is engineered for longevity. Its IP66 rating guarantees protection against dust and strong water jets, making it suitable for challenging environments. The turbine flow meter is equipped with M12 5-Pin electrical connections and operates on a 12 – 32 V DC power supply. With a compact design, it features main 1-1/16” -12UN #12 SAE ORB and top 7/16” -20UN #4 SAE ORB porting, making installation straightforward in various applications.

flow range on this one goes down to 5 L/min -- is that accurate or is there a sweet spot where readings get more reliable?

Rated flow range runs from 5 to 150 L/min, and the accuracy figure of plus or minus 1% full scale applies across that entire range. Full scale on this unit is 150 L/min, so that tolerance works out to about 1.5 L/min regardless of where you're operating in the range. Near the low end you're still within spec, but like most turbine meters, steadier and cleaner flow conditions will give you the most consistent readings. Turbulence, aeration, or viscosity outside the mineral oil range can affect things more at lower flow rates than at higher ones.
