flow range on this one, is 8 L/min really the low end, or can it read lower than that accurately?

Eight liters per minute is the bottom of the rated range, and accuracy is specified at plus or minus 1% of full scale across that 8 to 300 L/min window. Below 8 L/min the turbine rotor just doesn't spin consistently enough to hold that tolerance, so readings below that threshold aren't going to be reliable. If your application sits mostly in the lower end of that range, it's worth making sure your normal operating flow stays above the 8 L/min floor to get clean numbers.
