CT Series Turbine Flow Meters with Conditioned Output CT400-5V-S-S-6 | FT9504-06

Description & Features

Part of the WEBTEC CT Series, the CT400-5V-S-S-6 turbine flow meter is designed for demanding hydraulic measurement applications where accuracy and reliability are essential. It covers a flow range of 10 to 400 L/min (2.5 to 100 US gpm) and is rated to a maximum pressure of 420 bar (6000 psi), with a flow accuracy of plus or minus 1% Full Scale.

The meter accepts a power supply of 12 to 32 V DC and connects via an M12 5-pin electrical connector. Porting is provided through a 1-5/16" -12UN #16 SAE ORB main port and a 7/16" -20UN #4 SAE ORB top port. Compatible with mineral oils to ISO 11158, it operates across a fluid temperature range of 5 to 90°C (41 to 194°F). The aluminium body incorporates FKM and EPDM seals, and the unit carries an IP66 rating for use in wet or dusty environments.

Question by: Frank C on Nov 20, 2025, 11:05 AM
flow range on this unit, is 10 L/min really the low end, or can it read slower than that with any accuracy?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 22, 2025, 9:56 AM
Reads reliably from 10 L/min up to 400 L/min, and the ±1% full scale accuracy applies across that range. Below 10 L/min the turbine won't spin consistently enough to give you a dependable signal, so if your system regularly idles under that threshold this meter isn't the right fit for those low-flow conditions.
Question by: Shane M on Nov 13, 2025, 10:25 AM
How do I connect the CT400-5V-S-S-6 flow meter to my hydraulic system?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 14, 2025, 10:02 PM
For connecting the CT400-5V-S-S-6 flow meter, use the main port with the 1-5/16” -12UN #16 SAE ORB connection. If you need to make an electrical connection, the M12 5-Pin setup is what you’ll be working with. Make sure your power supply is within the 12 – 32 V DC range for optimal functionality.
