CT Series Turbine Flow Meters with Conditioned Output CT800-MA-S-S-7 | FT9506-07

Description & Features

Part of WEBTEC's CT Series, the WEBTEC CT800-MA-S-S-7 turbine flow meter is designed for demanding hydraulic measurement applications requiring both high flow capacity and reliable signal output. It handles flows from 20 to 800 L/min (5 to 210 US gpm) at pressures up to 480 bar (7000 psi), with a fluid temperature tolerance of 5 to 90°C (41 to 194°F).

The meter uses an M12 5-pin electrical connection and accepts a 12 to 32 V DC power supply, making it straightforward to integrate into existing monitoring systems. Main porting is 1-7/8" -12UN #24 SAE ORB, with a 7/16" -20UN #4 SAE ORB top port. The aluminium body is rated to IP66, and internal components combine aluminium, steel, and stainless steel with FKM/EPDM seals. Compatible fluids include mineral oils to ISO 11158, with further options available on request.

flow range on this one goes down to 20 L/min -- is that the actual usable lower limit or just where accuracy starts dropping off?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 24, 2025, 8:51 PM
Twenty liters per minute is the bottom of the rated flow range, so that's where the meter is spec'd to perform within the stated accuracy of plus or minus 1% of full scale. Below that threshold you'd be operating outside the tested range and the readings wouldn't be reliable. At the top end it handles up to 800 L/min, so there's a lot of working range in between. If your application is mostly running near that lower boundary, just keep in mind that turbine meters in general can get less linear as flow drops, and this unit is no exception to that general principle.
