Designed for demanding hydraulic measurement tasks, the CT Series WEBTEC turbine flow meter CT1500-CAN-F-S-6 handles flow rates from 50 to 1500 L/min (13.5 to 400 US gpm) at pressures up to 420 bar (6,000 psi). Flow accuracy is held to ±1% full scale, with temperature measurement accurate to ±2°C, making it well suited to high-flow industrial hydraulic circuits where reliable data is critical.

A CAN bus conditioned output is provided via an M12 5-pin connector, powered by 12 to 32 V DC. The main port is a 2" #32 SAE Code 62 4-bolt flange, with a 7/16"-20UN #4 SAE ORB top port. Compatible with mineral oils to ISO 11158, the meter operates across a fluid temperature range of 5 to 90°C (41 to 194°F). The aluminium body with steel and stainless steel internals, FKM/EPDM seals, and IP66 rating ensure reliable service across a wide range of environmental conditions.

How do I confirm if this CT Series Turbine Flow Meter fits my existing hydraulic setup?

You'll want to check the porting details. This model features a main 2” #32 SAE Code 62 4-bolt flange, along with a top 7/16” -20UN #4 SAE ORB. Make sure these match your current system's connections for a proper fit.

flow range on this thing goes down to 50 L/min -- is that the hard cutoff or just where accuracy starts dropping off?

Fifty liters per minute is the bottom of the rated flow range, so that's where the ±1% full scale accuracy spec applies. Below that, the meter may still produce a signal, but Webtec doesn't rate the accuracy outside of 50 to 1500 L/min, so readings under that threshold shouldn't be treated as reliable measurement data.
