CT Series Turbine Flow Meters with Conditioned Output CT600-CAN-S-S-5 | FT9718-25

Description & Features

The WEBTEC CT Series turbine flow meter, model CT600-CAN-S-S-5, is designed for accurate hydraulic flow and temperature measurement in demanding industrial systems. Covering a flow range of 15 to 600 L/min (4 to 160 US gpm) and rated to 420 bar (6000 psi), it delivers ±1% full scale flow accuracy alongside temperature measurement accurate to ±2°C (±4°F) across a fluid temperature range of 5 to 90°C (41 to 194°F).

Output is provided via a CAN bus signal through an M12 5-pin connector, powered from a 12–32 V DC supply. The aluminium body with steel and stainless steel internals uses FKM/EPDM seals and is rated IP66 for use in wet or dirty environments. Main porting is 1-5/16"-12UN #16 SAE ORB, with a 7/16"-20UN #4 SAE ORB top port. Compatible with mineral oils to ISO 11158, the unit weighs 2.7 kg (6 lbs).

Question by: Pete W on Apr 24, 2026, 9:04 AM
flow range on this one goes down to 15 L/min -- is that the actual usable minimum or just what they put on paper?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 26, 2026, 7:53 AM
Rated flow range runs from 15 L/min up to 600 L/min, and the accuracy figure of plus or minus 1% full scale applies across that range. At the low end, turbine meters in general start to lose linearity if you push them below their rated minimum, so 15 L/min is where Webtec draws the line for reliable measurement. Running it right at that threshold isn't ideal if you can avoid it, but anywhere comfortably above 15 L/min you should be in good shape.
