Got a hose assembly running in a spot where it takes some pressure spikes and bumps regular. Should I be using a different hose with this fitting?

For applications where shock loads are a factor, you'll want to pair this fitting with either H277 or H435 hose. The 04E series itself is rated for general-purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic use, so the fitting is fine, but the hose selection is what makes the difference when shock hazards are in the picture.
