The WeatherGRIP Z series hose end is optimized for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics. Incorporating Dura-Kote plating this product provides outstanding corrosion resistance. my buddy said these z series ends hold up real good in wet or rough conditions, is that on account of some kind of special coating or just the steel itself?

The carbon steel base gives it solid strength and durability, but the plating is the piece that makes it hold up where moisture and tough conditions are a regular part of the job.
