Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Darryl S on Jan 13, 2026, 3:51 PM
What kind of hydraulic applications would this fitting be good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 15, 2026, 7:18 AM
This fitting works well in general-purpose low and medium-pressure hydraulic systems. It's also a good choice where you might have to worry about shocks, especially when you're using H277 or H435 hoses.
Question by: Phil H on Aug 13, 2025, 12:00 PM
fitting says it works with H277 or H435 hose, does that mean it won't work on other hose types, or is that just what they recommend for shock situations?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 15, 2025, 9:25 AM
Those two hose types are specifically called out for use where shock hazards are present. Outside of shock conditions, this is a general-purpose low and medium pressure fitting, so the H277 and H435 callout is really about matching the right hose when vibration or pressure spikes are part of the picture. If shock isn't a factor in your application, the fitting is rated for general low and medium pressure hydraulic use.
