got a -6 hose line running in a spot that sees some pretty rough vibration and shock loads, this fitting gonna hold up to that or do I need something different?

For shock hazard environments, Eaton Weatherhead actually calls out the H277 or H435 series as the recommended option rather than the Z series. The WeatherGRIP Z is rated for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics, so if shock loading is a regular factor in your application, you'd want to look at those other series instead.
