What size is that JIC fitting on this WeatherGRIP hose end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 7, 2025, 8:26 AM
It comes with a 0.5625 male JIC 37 end, so it should connect right up to your line, hose, or tube setup.

got a setup running H277 hose where we see some shock loads pretty regular, this the right end to be pairing with that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 20, 2026, 7:38 AM
H277 is one of the hoses this fitting is specifically called out for, especially in applications where shock hazards are a concern. The WeatherGRIP Z series from Eaton Weatherhead was engineered with that kind of demanding general purpose hydraulic work in mind. Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating gives it solid corrosion resistance, which helps the whole assembly hold up over time rather than degrading at the fitting first.
