Does this fitting work for general hydraulic lines, or is it only meant for specialty setups? Got a low-pressure application and trying to figure out if it's the right call.

General purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic work is exactly what this hose end is built for. It carries a JIC 37 end type on the female side and is sized for a -6 hose dash size, so it fits right into standard hydraulic line assemblies without any fuss. Just keep in mind that if your system has shock hazards, Eaton recommends going with the H277 or H435 instead of this one.
