got a hose with a -8 dash on it, is this the right hose end size or am i mixing stuff up
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 19, 2025, 3:39 PM
For hose size, this one is built for a -8 hose dash size. On the port end, it is a male NPTF fitting with a 0.5 end size.
Question by: Glen R on Aug 5, 2025, 2:38 PM
What kind of corrosion resistance does this fitting have?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 7, 2025, 11:04 AM
Dura-Kote plating gives this fitting some serious corrosion resistance, which is good news if you're using it in a place where it's gonna get exposed to the elements or harsh chemicals.
Question by: Freddie M on Jul 25, 2025, 3:07 PM
does this fitting work with a -8 hose, or do i need something different for that size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 27, 2025, 6:30 AM
For a -8 dash size hose, this is the right fit. The 08E-108 is built specifically around that hose size, so you won't need to hunt for an adapter or step up to a different series. The male NPTF end handles the pipe connection side, and the 0.95 width keeps things compact enough for most standard setups.
