got a -8 hose im trying to hook up, is this end actually a 1/4 NPTF male or am i mixing sizes up

The dash size and the pipe thread are two different callouts on this part. This Z Series hose end is for a -8 hose, and the connection end is a 1/4 inch male NPTF rigid fitting.
