running this on H277 hose right now but got some equipment that sees pretty rough pressure spikes throughout the day -- is this fitting actually built to handle that kind of shock or do I need something beefier?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 17, 2026, 6:19 AM
For applications where shock hazards are a concern, Eaton Weatherhead specifically calls out H277 and H435 hoses as the right pairing with this fitting. Running it on H277 already puts you in the right setup for those conditions. The fitting itself is rated for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics, so as long as your system stays within that pressure range, you're in good shape for shock-prone environments.

What kind of pressure range is this fitting good for? Just trying to figure out if it'll work for my setup.
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 25, 2025, 8:42 AM
It's designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications.
