got a -8 hose on the truck. is this 08Z-A30 the right hose end for it or am i mixin things up
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 7, 2026, 6:38 AM
It lines up with a -8 hose dash size and it is a female end with a 1-inch end size using a FOR-SEAL end type, so it is built as a -8 hose end in that configuration.
Question by: Tony A on Feb 4, 2026, 8:39 PM
What kind of hydraulic applications does this hose end work with?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 6, 2026, 11:42 AM
It's generally for low to medium pressure stuff. Good for when you're dealing with shock hazards and using hoses like H277 or H435.
Question by: Todd H on Sep 18, 2025, 6:57 PM
got a line running H277 hose in a medium pressure setup with some shock load concerns, this the right fitting to pair with it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 20, 2025, 2:25 PM
Pairing with H277 hose is exactly the kind of application this fitting is built for. The WeatherGRIP Z series is rated for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics, and the spec sheet specifically calls out H277 and H435 as the recommended hose types when shock hazards are present. It's a -8 dash size with a 1-inch female end, so just confirm your line sizing matches before you commit.
