No check valve, no switch connector, no color coding, what exactly does come with this thing, and is it ready to bolt on without hunting down extra parts?

Right out of the box, it's a straight hose end connection, no extra hardware needed. The design intentionally leaves out the check valve, diode, switch connector, and color coding components, so what you're getting is a clean, fixed-end fitting that's ready to install as-is. No calibration required either, which makes the whole job a lot less fussy.
