Designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic systems, this carbon steel fitting features a female swivel connection with a DIN 24 seat and a 90-degree heavy configuration. The -16 hose dash size accommodates metric end connections on the line/hose/tube side, making it a practical choice for a range of industrial hydraulic assemblies.

The Weathergrip Z Series Hose End is built with Dura-Kote plating to provide strong corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. Its system-engineered design is intended to extend hose assembly service life and support reliable uptime. Where shock hazards are present, H277 or H435 hose is recommended for use with this fitting.

Will this fitting hold up if I'm using it for hydraulics on a piece of equipment that sees pretty regular shock loading?

For applications where you've got shock hazards, you'll want to use either H277 or H435 hose with this fitting. That'll give you the protection you need.
