Can this WeatherGRIP hose end handle hydraulic shocks if I'm using H277 or H435 hoses?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 23, 2025, 6:16 AM
It's specifically designed for use with H277 or H435 hoses in systems where shock hazards are a concern.
Question by: Judy T on Apr 2, 2026, 9:33 PM
Does this fitting work for shock hazard applications, or do I need something different for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 4, 2026, 6:25 PM
For setups where shock hazards are a concern, Eaton Weatherhead actually recommends pairing this with H277 or H435 hose rather than using the Z series end alone. The fitting itself is built for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics, so the hose selection is what handles the shock side of things. Swap in one of those hose types and you're covered.
