Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 22, 2025, 8:22 AM

Question by: Connie J on Jan 31, 2026, 9:56 AM
What kind of corrosion protection does this fitting have? We run equipment outdoors and rust has been a real problem with some of the cheaper stuff we've tried before.
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 2, 2026, 6:41 AM
Dura-Kote plating is applied to these fittings specifically to hold up against corrosion. It outperforms standard zinc plating in harsh or outdoor environments, so if rust has been chewing through your other fittings, this should hold up considerably better over time.
