Designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications, this carbon steel fitting carries SAE J1176 certification and is compatible with -12 dash size hose assemblies. The WeatherGRIP Z Series hose end features a JIC 37 male end type paired with a line/hose/tube connection, making it suitable for a wide range of hydraulic circuit configurations. Dura-Kote plating provides strong corrosion resistance, and the system-engineered design supports extended hose assembly service life. Got a -12 hose assembly on a medium pressure circuit and need a JIC 37 male end fitting. This the right part for that?

Will this here fitting hold up alright in a hydraulics system for farm equipment?

For general purpose low to medium pressure hydraulic applications, this carbon steel fitting should work just fine. If you've got high shock loads in your system, you might want to look at the H277 or H435 alternatives.
