Designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications, the Weathergrip Z Series Hose End is a female swivel fitting with a DIN 24 seat configuration and a 90-degree heavy angle, sized for -12 hose. Constructed from carbon steel and finished with Dura-Kote plating, it provides reliable corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. Where shock hazards are a concern, H277 or H435 hose assemblies are recommended instead.

Will this fitting hold up in a hydraulic system that sees some pretty rough use?

Dura-Kote plating on the carbon steel provides corrosion resistance, which should help it hold up in demanding service environments. However, if you're dealing with shock hazards, the description recommends using H277 or H435 hose assemblies instead.
