This Weathergrip Z Series Hose End is designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications. When shock hazards exist, the H277 or H435 hose can be used. The fitting assembly is made from carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance, and is certified to SAE J1176 standards.

This Weathergrip Z Series Hose End features an innovative design to deliver performance and maximum uptime, and is system engineered to extend hose assembly life. It has a flanged end type and a line/hose/tube end type. This fitting is compatible with a -12 hose dash size.

Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system that sees regular pressure spikes?

For systems where shock hazards are a concern, it's best to use either the H277 or H435 hose with this fitting. They're designed to handle those conditions better.
