Designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications, this carbon steel crimp fitting features a flanged end configuration with SAE Code 61 split flange straight geometry. At -16 hose dash size, it connects hose assemblies to flanged ports with a secure, reliable interface suited to demanding fluid power environments where shock hazards are not a primary concern, H277 or H435 series fittings are recommended where shock conditions exist.

The Weathergrip Z Series Hose End is finished with Dura-Kote plating, which provides strong resistance to corrosion in harsh service conditions. Will this fitting hold up if my equipment sees some vibration?

For applications with significant shock or vibration, it's recommended to use the H277 or H435 series fittings instead. This Weathergrip Z series is better suited for situations where those aren't major concerns.
