Designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic circuits, the Weathergrip Z Series Hose End is a split flange 90° tube elbow fitting configured for a -16 hose dash size. Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating provides strong resistance to corrosion in demanding service environments. The flanged end and line/tube end configuration make this a Code 61 split flange assembly suited to applications where a compact 90° transition is required.

Engineered as part of the Weatherhead by Danfoss Z Series crimp fitting system, this fitting is designed to extend hose assembly service life and support maximum uptime through a system-matched approach to hose end compatibility. Where shock hazards are present, H277 or H435 series fittings are recommended instead. The fitting meets SAE J1176 certification standards.

Will this fitting hold up if I'm using it in a hydraulic system that sees a good bit of vibration and shock?

This Weathergrip Z Series hose end is best suited for general purpose, low to medium pressure hydraulic applications. For systems where shock hazards are present, Weatherhead H277 or H435 series fittings are recommended instead.
