Designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications, the Weathergrip Z Series Hose End is a female ORS swivel fitting assembly manufactured from carbon steel with a Dura-Kote plating for reliable corrosion resistance. Rated to SAE J1176, it is sized for -16 hose dash size with a 1.63 hex and an overall width of 1.94 inches.

Engineered by Danfoss Power Solutions as part of the Z Series crimp fitting line, this fitting is designed to extend hose assembly service life and support maximum uptime in demanding hydraulic systems. Where shock hazards are a concern, H277 or H435 series fittings are recommended as alternatives.

How durable is the plating on this thing? I'm using it outdoors, and I'd like it to last.

Dura-Kote plating is used to give it superior corrosion resistance. That helps it last a good long time, even when exposed to the elements.
