Designed for air brake systems, this brass straight adapter from the Weatherhead line by Danfoss / Eaton connects a 1/4 in. push-to-connect fitting on one end to a 1/4 in. NPTF male thread on the other. The straight configuration keeps routing clean and compact in space-constrained installations.

Will this here fitting hold up okay in a cold environment, say like down to -30 or -40?

This Danfoss/Eaton coupling is rated for a minimum working temperature of -40°F, so it should work fine even in those temperatures. It's designed for air brake systems, which often see cold conditions.
