This Danfoss / Eaton Coupling is a Weatherhead Push to Connect /NPTF Male 45° Elbow Adapter, designed for air brake systems. The adapter features Dura-Kote plating, providing superior corrosion resistance.

Design flexibility is assured with hundreds of styles to choose from. This elbow adapter provides higher operating pressures above SAE standards. End 1 is a female Push to Connect with a 0.5 inch size. End 2 is a male NPTF with a 0.25 inch size, and is made of brass. It has a minimum working temperature of -40 degrees.

Just want to make sure this elbow adapter will hold up in my air brake system. What kind of protection does it have against rust?

Dura-Kote plating gives this adapter superior corrosion resistance, so it should last.
