Constructed from brass, this 1/4 in. NPTF male-to-male close nipple is suited for grease, refrigeration, instrumentation, and hydraulic system connections. The dual male NPTF thread configuration provides a secure, pressure-tight fit on both ends. Dura-Kote plating delivers strong corrosion resistance across a wide operating temperature range, with a rated minimum working temperature of -65°F.

Reckon this close nipple would hold up alright in a hydraulic setup?

Designed for hydraulic systems, this coupling can certainly handle the pressure. Plus, the Dura-Kote plating should help it resist corrosion.
