Question by: Ricky C on Mar 25, 2026, 9:49 AM
got a 1/4 nptf port and need to tie into an sae male, is this the right kind of adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 26, 2026, 7:26 PM
For a male to male hookup, it matches that setup. One end is 0.25 inch NPTF male and the other end is 0.625 inch SAE male, so it is meant to bridge those two thread types.
Question by: Danny M on Aug 4, 2025, 4:48 PM
Got a fitting that's NPTF on one end and SAE on the other, does this adapter actually bridge both thread types in a single piece?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 6, 2025, 7:40 AM
That's what it does. One end is NPTF male at a quarter inch, and the other end is SAE male at five-eighths inch. So if you're connecting two lines or components with those mismatched thread standards, this brass nipple adapter closes that gap without needing extra fittings in between.
