Constructed from brass, this straight adapter is designed for instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems requiring a reliable female-to-female connection. It features a 1/8 in. NPTF threaded end on one side and a 1/4 in. hose/tube end on the other, making it a practical choice where these two connection types need to be joined in a single fitting.

The Danfoss / Eaton Coupling carries Dura-Kote plating, which provides strong corrosion resistance suited to demanding service environments. Operating pressure capability exceeds SAE standards, and the design is rated for temperatures as low as -65°F. With a 1/2 in. hex on the hose/tube end, the fitting accepts standard tooling for secure installation.

Will this work with a regular pipe thread?

This adapter has an NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) thread on one side, which is a dry seal thread and might require sealant for optimal performance with standard NPT threads.
