This Danfoss / Eaton Coupling is designed for use in instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. It features Dura-Kote plating, which provides superior corrosion resistance, and offers design flexibility due to the availability of hundreds of styles. It is rated for higher operating pressures than SAE standards.

This straight adapter has a male NPTF end with a 0.375" size, and a female Line/Hose/Tube end with a 0.5" size. The hex size 2 is 0.813". It is constructed from brass and is designed to withstand minimum working temperatures of -65 degrees.

Reckon this'll hold up alright in a hydraulic setup, or is it more for air lines and such?
