Question by: Lynn M on Apr 7, 2025, 7:46 PM
got a shop airline that gets dragged around a lot. is this H101 hose built to take some rubbing without falling apart quick?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 9, 2025, 2:48 PM
For day to day shop abuse, the H101 uses a chloroprene rubber cover with standard abrasion resistance, so it is meant to handle typical scuffs and rubs you see on air and multi-purpose lines.
Question by: Roy C on Mar 28, 2026, 7:26 AM
Does this hose hold up when it's running air lines in a shop that gets real cold overnight? Asking cause we've had other hoses crack on us come winter.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 30, 2026, 6:39 AM
Cold temps shouldn't be a problem here. The working temperature floor on this hose is -40 degrees, so overnight cold in an unheated shop isn't going to cause cracking or stiffening issues. The nitrile tube also holds up well against the kind of industrial fluids that tend to show up in multi-purpose shop environments, so it pulls double duty without complaint.
Question by: Denise H on Mar 16, 2026, 6:38 PM
Wondering if this hose will hold up for running air tools all day long in the shop?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 18, 2026, 3:52 PM
For air and multi-purpose applications, this hose is built tough with a 1 ply braid of polyester reinforcement, which should extend its life even with the highest pressures. It's been system-engineered for durability.
