WEATHERHEAD H213 Truck Hose

Description & Features

Designed for demanding truck and fleet applications, the Weatherhead H213 Truck Hose handles air brake, fuel, hydraulic, and diesel fuel service across a wide operating temperature range, with a minimum working temperature of -50°F. The CPE tube construction pairs with a polyester and wire braid reinforcement and a textile cover rated for premium abrasion resistance.

Rated to SAE J1402 and compliant with DOT AII standards, this hose is conductive and carries a minimum bend radius of 1.75 inches at Dash Size -8. The two-ply braid construction provides consistent performance across multiple fluid types, consolidating hose inventory for mixed-service environments. Compatible fittings are the 213 N Series.

got a tight spot on a truck frame, how tight can this -8 hose bend without kinkin it
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 10, 2025, 8:54 AM
For the -8 size, the minimum bend radius is 1.75 inches. Keeping your routing at or above that radius helps prevent kinks and keeps the reinforcement doing its job.
Question by: Janet H on Apr 11, 2025, 5:27 PM
Does this hose work for both air brake and fuel lines, or is it only rated for one or the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 13, 2025, 5:20 PM
Rated for air brake, fuel, hydraulic, and diesel fuel service all in one hose. That two-ply polyester and wire braid construction is what lets it handle that range without breaking down, and the CPE tube holds up across those different fluid types. If you're running a mixed-service fleet and want to simplify what you're stocking, this hose covers a lot of ground.
