Question by: Kirk C on Aug 10, 2025, 12:14 PM
What kind of stuff can this tubing handle without breaking down? I deal with some pretty harsh chemicals.
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 12, 2025, 6:05 AM
This Eaton tubing is resistant to most chemicals and hydrocarbons, making it a good choice for tough industrial environments where those substances are present.
Question by: Merle L on Mar 3, 2026, 11:35 AM
got a tight spot to route this line, how sharp can i bend this tubing without kinkin it
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 4, 2026, 9:01 PM
Minimum bend radius on this Eaton Weatherhead polyamide tubing is 1.5 inches, so you will want to keep bends at or above that radius when routing it.
Question by: Ray D on Feb 19, 2026, 12:26 PM
tubing says it handles chemicals and hydrocarbons, does that include fuel lines or hydraulic fluid setups, or is it more for air and water?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 20, 2026, 6:39 PM
Polyamide construction holds up well against a broad range of hydrocarbons and industrial chemicals, so fuel and hydraulic fluid contact is well within what this tubing is built to handle. The fluid compatibility documentation is available if you need to verify a specific fluid, but general hydrocarbon resistance is a core part of what makes this material the right choice for those kinds of setups.
