Question by: Ralph W on Feb 17, 2026, 10:13 AM
these come threaded already or do I gotta cut threads myself before putting em in?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 19, 2026, 6:02 AM
Threads are already cut into each opening, machined to the American Briggs Standard for pipe threads. You just need the right pipe, a compatible sealant of your choosing, and you're ready to make up the connection. The chamfered openings on each end also make it easier to get the pipe started without a lot of fussing around.

Question by: Ray F on Apr 30, 2025, 9:25 PM
got a 1-1/2 inch line and need to turn it 90 degrees, is this the right elbow for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 2, 2025, 10:09 AM
For a 90 degree change in direction on a 1-1/2 inch threaded pipe run, this fitting matches that setup. It is a malleable iron 90 degree elbow with American Briggs Standard pipe threads for a proper threaded connection.
