Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Phil R on Apr 10, 2025, 6:52 AM
Hey, will this fitting hold up okay outside? I need to run a gas line to my grill.
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 11, 2025, 2:56 PM
These fittings are made from high tensile iron, so they should be able to handle outdoor use. But remember that they're black iron, and black iron can rust if it's exposed to moisture.
Question by: Ronnie C on Apr 2, 2025, 5:22 PM
threading on this, is it American Briggs Standard or NPT? got a line i need to tie into and want to make sure it'll fit before i order
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 4, 2025, 8:41 AM
American Briggs Standard pipe threads are what this fitting uses. That standard is widely compatible with standard pipe thread fittings used across most industrial and hydraulic connections applications, so it should tie into your existing line without issue. Each opening is also chamfered, which makes getting it started on the threads a good bit easier during assembly.
