Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Cody M on Jul 10, 2025, 9:52 PM
trying to step a 2 inch line down to 1 inch, is that what this bell reducer does?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 12, 2025, 6:01 AM
For reducing line size, this fitting transitions from a 2 inch connection down to a 1 inch connection using American Briggs Standard pipe threads.
Question by: Glen C on Jun 8, 2025, 12:32 PM
fitting threads on this one follow American Briggs standard or something else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 10, 2025, 11:56 AM
American Briggs Standard is what these are threaded to, same as most standard iron pipe fittings used in industrial setups. Each opening is also chamfered, so getting it started during assembly is a lot easier than fighting a sharp edge. If your existing pipe is already on American Briggs threads, this will mate up without any surprises.
