Got a Kobelco port on a piece of equipment running M30 x 1.5 threads with that L22 Special setup. Will this adapter get me over to a standard 3/4" NPT female fitting without any kind of thread adapter in between?

That's exactly what this piece is built for. One end is a sealed Kobelco male port in M30 x 1.5 with the L22 Special configuration, and the other end is a 3/4-14 NPTF female thread.
