L.P. Gas Hose, UL 21 Approved, 0.38 Inch ID, Up To 350.00 PSI

Description & Features

The Boston by Danfoss / Eaton Raven Industrial Hose Specialty is designed for the transfer and delivery of propane and butane with approval under UL 21 standards. Featuring a nitrile tube with textile braid reinforcement it supports a maximum operating pressure of 350 PSI.

The black pin-pricked vinyl nitrile cover ensures durability and performance within a temperature range of -40deg;F to +140deg;F suitable for transferring natural gas in well-ventilated areas (up to 1 psig max working pressure). Designed with a 0.38-inch inner diameter and a 0.73-inch outer diameter it has a minimum bend radius of 4.5 inches and is available in 500 ft reel quantities.

This product also uses "U" Series fittings and swaged or crimp male couplings for secure connections. Special precautions should be taken to handle LPG safely to prevent leakage as it poses significant hazards if exposed to open air.

Question by: Bobby C on Jul 13, 2025, 5:00 PM
hose says it works for propane and butane both -- does that include natural gas lines too or is that a separate deal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 15, 2025, 6:00 AM
Natural gas transfer is listed as a supported use, but with a pretty important catch. For natural gas, the max working pressure drops way down to 1 PSI, and it has to be in a well-ventilated area. That's a hard limit on the natural gas side. For propane and butane delivery, the hose handles up to 350 PSI under the UL 21 approval, so those two applications have a lot more headroom pressure-wise.

got a tight spot to snake this through, how sharp can i bend this hose without kinking it
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 16, 2025, 6:37 AM
For routing, the minimum bend radius is 4.5 inches, so you want to keep bends at or above that to avoid stressing the hose.
