The Numatics L Series Solenoid Valve is engineered for precise control in pneumatic power and control applications. Designed with a single solenoid air pilot and a spring return with flush locking override it is suitable for unlubricated or lubricated service. This 4-way valve features 1/4 inch NPT ports and operates on a 24 VDC coil offering up to 79 SCFM flow rating.

Capable of operating within a pressure range of 28" Hg vacuum to 150 PSIG this valve provides reliable performance across demanding conditions. The valve's robust construction allows for a temperature range from -10F to +115F.

The device includes a DIN plug-in solenoid and plug connector with an indicator light and can be either in-line or manifold mounted. Integral speed control is available and hand-lever valves are an option. Ideal for industrial automation and control systems it ensures dependable performance and longevity.

valve's rated up to 79 SCFM -- is that enough flow for a 1/4 inch port setup running standard shop air?

For a 1/4 inch NPT valve, 79 SCFM is a solid flow rating. Most shop air applications running quarter-inch lines won't come close to pushing that hard, so you've got good headroom there. The Cv factor on this one is 1.7, which lines up well with the flow rating and confirms it moves air efficiently for its port size. As long as your system pressure stays between 14.5 and 150 PSIG on the shift side, this valve will cycle without issue.

Will this valve work alright if I'm usin' it with unlubricated air?

This Numatics L Series valve is suitable for both unlubricated and lubricated service, so you shouldn't have any problems there.

got a control panel that’s 24vdc. will this valve run on that, and what kind of plug does it use?

For power and wiring, it uses a 24 VDC coil and comes with a DIN plug-in solenoid and plug connector that has an indicator light.
