Designed for reliable directional control in pneumatic systems, the L2 Series 4-Way Solenoid Operated Pneumatic Valve features a double solenoid air pilot actuator with detent and flush locking override, maintaining spool position without continuous power. The valve handles flow up to 79 SCFM with a Cv of 1.7, and connects via 1/4 inch NPT ports.

Operating across a pressure range of 28" Hg vacuum to 150 PSIG, with a shift pressure range of 14.5 to 150 PSIG, this valve suits a broad range of industrial pneumatic applications. The 110 VAC coil features a DIN plug-in solenoid connector with indicator light. Suitable for both unlubricated and lubricated service, the unit functions in temperatures from -10°F to +115°F. In-line or manifold mounting configurations are supported, and integral speed control is available.

Running a double-acting cylinder on a press line and need the spool to hold position if we lose power. Does this valve actually stay put without keeping the solenoid energized, or does it spring back?

Detent valves hold their last commanded position mechanically, so once the solenoid shifts the spool, power to the coil can drop and the valve stays right where it is. That makes this a solid pick for press or clamping applications where you can't have the actuator creeping back on a power interruption. The flush locking override also lets you manually lock the spool in position at the valve body itself, which comes in handy during setup or troubleshooting without needing to fire the solenoid at all.

What kinda pressure range we talkin' about for this valve? Just makin' sure it'll work for what I need it for.
