Question by: Kirk A on Dec 14, 2025, 8:08 PM
got a banjo setup already, how do i know if this one is the right size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 16, 2025, 6:58 AM
The key details are the dimensions: it’s a 12 mm banjo fitting that pairs with a 10 mm banjo bolt. If your brake line connection uses that 12 x 10 mm banjo arrangement, this is the matching size.
Question by: Randy B on Jan 7, 2026, 1:11 PM
fitting says 12 x 10mm -- does that mean the banjo bolt hole is 10mm and the outer ring part is 12mm, or is it the other way around?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 9, 2026, 10:42 AM
The 12mm refers to the diameter of the banjo fitting itself, and the 10mm is the size of the banjo bolt that passes through it. So when you're matching this up to your brake line or caliper port, you're looking for a 10mm bolt thread with a 12mm banjo body. Brakequip dimensions these to pretty tight tolerances, so as long as your bolt and port match those numbers, it should seat cleanly.

Will this banjo fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic brake system on an old pickup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 31, 2026, 9:01 PM
Designed for precision and reliability, this Brakequip fitting should provide a secure connection in the high-pressure environment of a hydraulic brake system. It's made with quality materials to withstand demanding conditions.
