Question by: Cheryl A on Dec 6, 2025, 2:16 PM
Running hydraulic oil on a skidder most of the day, temps been climbing more than I'd like. How much heat can this thing actually pull out?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 8, 2025, 6:52 AM
Rated for up to 90,000 BTU/hr of heat removal with oil flows up to 100 GPM, so it's got enough capacity for heavy-duty mobile equipment running hard through long shifts. The copper tubes and aluminum fins handle thermal transfer efficiently, and the steel manifolds are built to hold up under rugged conditions. Operating pressure ceiling is 300 PSI, so as long as your system stays within that range, you've got solid cooling headroom.
Question by: Tammy A on Feb 14, 2026, 7:06 PM
Reckon this'll hold up okay for hydraulic oil cooling on a sawmill? We run pretty steady.
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 16, 2026, 10:08 AM
Designed for demanding applications, this heat exchanger can remove up to 90,000 BTU/Hr and handle oil flows up to 100 GPM, which should suit a sawmill running at a consistent pace.
Question by: Hugh R on Jul 19, 2025, 12:05 PM
got a hydraulic setup that runs pretty warm, how much heat can this cooler actually pull out?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 21, 2025, 7:58 AM
Under typical use it is rated for up to 90,000 BTU per hour of heat removal, and it is intended for oil flow rates up to 100 GPM.
