Question by: Kurt F on Nov 7, 2025, 10:41 AM
Got a line running 37-degree JIC fittings and need to tie into something with a 1/2-20 inverted flare port, this the right adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 8, 2025, 12:29 PM
That's what this one's built for. One end is a -06 male JIC with a 37-degree flare, and the other is a 1/2-20 male with a 42-degree inverted flare, straight through with no angle. It's made by Eaton Aeroquip under catalog number C1ZY21, so you're getting a name-brand piece for a pretty specific crossover connection.
Question by: Daryl S on Aug 3, 2025, 5:40 PM
Will this adapter work with standard hydraulic fittings?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 5, 2025, 3:29 PM
This adapter is designed to connect a -06 male JIC 37 deg Flare fitting to a 1/2-20 male 42 deg Inverted Flare fitting. Be sure to confirm that these connection types are compatible with your existing hydraulic system.

i’ve got a hose end that’s -6 JIC, will this adapter get me over to a 1/2-20 inverted flare port?

Built for exactly that connection change, it has a -06 male JIC 37 degree flare on one end and a 1/2-20 male 42 degree inverted flare on the other, in a straight adapter body.
