Question by: Gary A on Jul 27, 2025, 2:09 PM
these cap fittings threaded to any particular standard, or is it just a generic thread pattern?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 29, 2025, 7:04 AM
Threaded to the American Briggs Standard for pipe threads, so it'll mate up properly with standard pipe fittings and connections you'd already be working with in most industrial setups. That's a well-established thread spec, so compatibility with common 1/2 inch pipe components isn't something you'd need to worry about.
Question by: Diane W on Apr 1, 2025, 3:28 PM
got a 1/2 inch threaded pipe run and just need to cap the end off. is this the right kind of cap?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 2, 2025, 6:20 PM
For closing off a 1/2 inch threaded opening, this is a 1/2 inch malleable iron pipe cap with threads made to the American Briggs Standard, so it’s meant to screw onto a matching pipe thread and seal the end.
